Gennadi is a typical relaxed Greek village with a beach providing all the amenities you require for an enjoyable stay.

It’s most suitable for guests looking for getting away from the commercial tourist resorts and sample a bit of laid back Greek living.

The mythical and mystical environment of the surrounded area is scattered among lush mountainous paths, bays and coves, sand dunes and blue flag beaches.

Why Gennadi?

If you are looking for a truly relaxing break away from it all but still have access to some lovely restaurants, tavernas and great chill-out beach bars, then Gennadi is the place for you. As you walk around the village, deciding on where to spend your evening, you will immediately start to unwind. Even in the peak season, Gennadi is never overcrowded and you will always receive a warm welcome from the locals.  Days spent on the glorious beach are just so tranquil, as you bathe in the crystal clear waters and then amble along to one of the marvellous seafood tavernas right on the sand. For a truly memorable evening, pop along to one of the atmospheric beach bars, listen to some chill-out music,  have a couple of drinks and soak up the relaxing environment whilst burying your feet in the sand. For keen Wind Surfers and Kite Surfers, Gennadi is a great   base for spending your days on the waves of Prasonisi!

Recommendations of things to do during your stay in Gennadi:

  • Visit Prasonisi – the famous windsurfing and kite surfing beach which is at the southern tip of the island. Prasonisi is a fascinating place for both surf lovers and non-surfers to visit as it is where the Aegean and the Mediterranean sea meet. Visitors will be amazed at the scenery which this creates as one sea is calm  and the other is rough.

  • Gennadi Serenity  villa is also just a couple of minutes’ drive from the beautiful, Gennadi beach which is well known for the traditional Greek tavernas that are dotted along its front.

  • The most famous beach of the island (St. Paul Beach in Lindos) is only 20 km away from the villa - a 15 minute drive.

  • Discover South West Rhodes – take a trip over to the West coast where you will be taken aback by the spectacular beauty of the views from Monolithos Castle. Stop at Sianna to sample the delicious Olive Oil, Souma and Rhodian Honey. Just driving through this area is a joy with its breathtaking scenery!
